Gold Standard 100% Isolate
Not great as it foams up and doesn't taste all that nice. It's okay for the price, If you don't care about taste, its great.
PROS - No grittiness when mixed, nice flavour with milk, great ingredients
CONS - No flavour when mixed with water, Unusually frothy
The fact that I couldn't stand drinking this with just water, defeated the macro content purpose of this protein for me. Also it was SO frothy when mixed I would have to wait 5 mins for the froth to subside before drinking, otherwise it was like a mouthful of foam. I will be going back to my faithful Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein, which I can't really fault at all
I was using ON gold standard Whey protein and decided to try the Isolate. It still mixes fantastically in typical ON tradition and I found the flavour (vanilla) was good when mixed with milk. But with water it was gross. Kind of defeats the purpose of it being less calories than the whey protein if I can only drink it with milk. Also found it VERY frothy and had to wait to drink it.
I am going back to the Gold Standard Whey which I find tastes better with water and doesn't get frothy.
