Is this product Vegan?

This product contains a plant-based protein blend, and is therefore free from whey protein - a commonly used ingredient which is derived from milk. Clean Vegan Protein contains no animal-based products and is 100% suitable for those living a vegan lifestyle, or for individuals with a lactose intolerance.

I have previously struggled with digestion and bloating when taking proteins - is this product okay for a sensitive stomach?

This product is free from a number of allergens, and is created with all-natural ingredients which are significantly easier to digest. Containing absolutely no gluten, dairy, soy or lactose, this product is considered a gut-friendly alternative to other proteins - Such as Whey Concentrates. A number of customer testimonials have reviewed this product as one they found to work with their body - despite previous difficulty finding a product that was easy on the tummy. However, It all comes down to the individual and their needs, and what your body can/cant handle.

What kind of protein is Protein Switch by Switch Nutrition sourced from?

Why doesn’t this product contain Rice Protein like other Vegan Proteins?

Rice Protein is generally very gritty which turns people off non-dairy vegan plant proteins. With Rice Protein being the cheapest plant protein available, the demand has escalated. This has caused an increase in supply of lower quality product contaminated with heavy metals and arsenic. We were able to create a better mixing, better tasting protein without it!

One ingredient listed is “Veslositol” - How does this work?

Velositol® works to increase the effectiveness of Insulin in the presence of Amino Acids (from protein). Ultimately leading to enhanced mTOR (mammalian Target Of Rapamycin) which stimulates MPS (Muscle Protein Synthesis). Just 2g of Velositol® can double the benefit of protein, making 20g more effective than 40g of protein.

Does this product contain any banned substances?

No, this product has been tested and confirmed to contain no banned substances. However, we advise that the list of banned substances as noted by the Australian Regulatory Board, ASADA, changes very frequently. Is this product safe during pregnancy?

Use of this product is advised against for women during pregnancy without prior consultation with a medical professional. However, minimal evidence of adverse effects exist, and several sources and medical research projects have determined that women during pregnancy require a slightly increased protein intake to support optimal growth and health. Therefore, if choosing to use, consult a medical professional, and ensure the product uses all natural ingredients.

[How to use?]

We recommend a serving size of one heaped scoop (36g) of Protein Switch.

To mix, combine one serving of Protein Switch with 200 - 350mL of water or milk (Almond & Coconut Milks are our fav!). Mix well in a shaker or blender, then drink up.

While Protein Switch is most advantageously used when consumed after training or competition to kickstart recovery and growth - you can alternatively consume at any time of the day. Use Protein Switch as a snack replacement, a convenience, an addition to a meal or even use it in baking to whip upcode pretty epic protein pancakes or protein banana muffins! The possibilities are endless!
