Amino Energy is created within a facility that also manufactures whey protein. Therefore, this product is not certified as vegan. What is the difference between BCAA products and Essential Amino Acid Products?
BCAA products contain 3 different types of amino acids. In contract, Amino Acid products contain 9 different types of amino acids. Both are essential your body: meaning they cannot be produced by your body, and you rely on dietary intake or supplements as the source of these amino acids. While BCAA products focus on only the 3 amino acids most important to muscle building, Essential Amino Acid products include all BCAAs plus all others - to ensure you have every base covered.
How much caffeine in contained within Amino Energy? Will this cause a crash?
Amino Energy is does contain caffeine - at a concentration of 50mg per scoop. Depending on your preferred serving size, you could therefore consume between 50mg or 200mg of caffeine. We love this - because it makes Amino Energy so versatile. This caffeine is sourced from natural sources - either green tea extract or green coffee extract. Because this is naturally sourced, your can expect long lasting and crash-free energy!
Is this product suitable for those with lactose or gluten intolerances?
Definitely! This product contains neither lactose, dairy nor gluten.
Can I use Amino Energy as an Intra-Workout? What about if I’ve already had a pre-workout?
Absolutely! In fact, this is one of our athlete’s favourite products to use as an Intra-Workout product. Amino Energy gives hydration, endurance and energy throughout your workout. Because the caffeine content is relatively low, you can combine use with a pre-workout product also. However, we do caution that you avoid consuming more than 300mg total in the workout and pre-workout combo.
Is this product safe during pregnancy?
While this product is natural, and has demonstrated no adverse effects or conditions for those who use during a pregnancy, we recommend consulting a medical professional before continuing use.
Does this product contain any banned substances?
No, this product has been tested and confirmed to contain no banned substances. However, we advise that the list of banned substances as noted by the Australian Regulatory Board, ASADA, changes very frequently. [How to use?]
Amino Energy is a caffinated product with a variety of benefits in boosting energy and muscle recovery, and can be taken at a number of times throughout the day.
For optimal performance during training, take 20-30 minutes before starting exercise, in a dosage of 2-6 scoops.
For optimal recovery after training, consume immediately after completion, in a dosage of 2-4 scoops.
This product can however, also be used as a during-workout energy booster, or a energy boost in the morning or throughout the day (in place of coffee).
Note that the caffiene content is 100mg per 2 scoop serving - and dosage should be adjusted according to individual caffeine tolerance.
We advise not to exceed 10 scoops in any 24 hour period.
