How does GutRight work? Pros?

There have been diverse epidemics that our gut has been acquanted with such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Small Intestine Bowel Overgrowth (SIBO), Fermentable Oligo - Di - and Monosaccharides and polyols (FODMAP), Indigestion, and Reflux (GORD). That happens because our gut has bugs which outnumber us 10:1. It is these guts bugs that will control a lot of our digestive processes especially our metabolism, as well as immune and our gut wall integrity.

Modbiotics are the ideal choice in improving our gut health. Modbiotics can reduce the bad firmicutes and they increase the good bacteroidetes. They are antimicrobial, antifungal, antibacterial compounds such as polyphenols, polysaccharides, glucans and other compounds that control growth and ratios of gut flora. Modbiotics reduce “bad” bugs and increase “good” bugs.

      Quick Answers to Common Questions

Can I take this in conjunction with other products from the range?

Yes you can most definitely, all of our product range minus the infrared support the GutRight during the 10 day protocol so keep them in if you like.

What protein sources can you have during the 10 days?

You want to avoid dairy based proteins and also pea proteins whilst on the 10 days. These can be added back in afterwards if need be.

      Is GutRight organic?

      Yes.

What happens if I don’t get any side effects?

One thing that we all have in common is the fact that we are unique, especially our gut flora, so while one person may have a greater physical reaction than you, does not mean that the product is not working. there are so many important internal processes that it works on such as breaking down bio-films and cleaning up excess mucous. Some may have more subtle effects than others.

Do I need to use antibiotics or probiotics during or afterwards?

Thankfully this does only target the firmicutes of the gut in terms of specific commensal flora so you aren’t bombing the lot. This means that it is unlikely you will need to replenish with probiotics, however if you know through tests that you are deficient in a particular strain, then you can add this in as an individual item in conjunction after the 10 days.

Why aren’t I pooping? Why am I going to the bathroom less?

If, through excess inflammation the gut is producing more mucous in response; this can be seen as making you a more regular visitor. So, when lessening the inflammation and clearing up excess mucous from the GI Tract, you may become initially less regular. However around day 8-10 is when this begins to balance itself out again as your body finds its rhythm.

What happens if I don’t follow the diet?

The specific carbohydrate diet is designed to assist with the initial 10 day process. This is the method preferred, and consists of removing complex carbohydrates out of the diet for 10 days. These complex sugars take a long time to break down and as such can make it through to digestion in the large intestine, which bugs love! By removing their food source and providing an imitation of complex molecule (polyphenols) the polyphenols are ingested and poison the bug we are targeting (Firmicutes). So it is important if you want the most out of your process.

      Can children have this?

While we cannot provide specific dosage guidance or recommendation for use for anyone under the of 15 years, we can say that if under guidance of the health care professional, you can. Our team used around 1/4 of a scoop for their munchkins. Again, always work with your health care professional before making any changes for your current lifestyle.

Is GutRight a powder or a capsule?

GutRight is a powder form supplement that can be mixed with foods, juices etc. one of the interesting reasons we went with a powder is that the polyphenols contain bitter properties that work in conjunction with the Vagus Nerve and digestive process and these first start with the bitter taste buds on the tongue

How long will one tub of GutRight last me?

1 tub (150g) contains 30 serves, if you are doing the 10 day protocol where it is 3 serves a day, you will go through a tub in the initial 10 days. After this 10 days, 1 tub will last 30 days.
